Math Work Stations and More!

I recently purchased Debbie Diller's awesome book Math Work Stations and cannot put it down! The book has wonderful explanations, pictures, and tips on how to implement work stations effectively in your classroom.  I hope to start using work stations in the next couple of weeks! Do you use math work stations in your classroom? I'd love insight from your experience.

In news unrelated to math work stations, we recently progress monitored our students using DIBELS and I am so proud of the growth my students have made! We practice nonsense words with I Want Candy! Nonsense Word Game. They absolutely LOVE it and are totally catching on.

Hope y'all have a wonderful week! Promise to update soon :)

Joining the blogosphere!

After months of religiously following so many AMAZING blogs out there, I decided to start my own!  I plan to update frequently with the happenings of my classroom as well as share strategies, resources, and tips from one teacher to another. I will also post freebies for use in your classroom....speaking of, I've posted my first freebie to my TPT Store! It's a simple, engaging math center activity for teaching kiddos how to count backward. Be sure to check it out and leave feedback :)
